US Senate Leader Slams Netanyahu On Gaza Death Toll, IDF Summons General For Rebuking Politicians

The Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) summoned Brigadier General Dan Goldfus after he said politicians must be "worthy of soldiers sacrificing their lives" in Gaza. US Senate Majority Leader, Chuck Schumer, meanwhile attacked Netanyahu for "bowing down" to extremist far-right ministers in his coalition and being too "willing to tolerate the civilian toll in Gaza, which is pushing support for Israel worldwide to historic lows." Israel "cannot survive if it becomes a pariah," Schumer said.
